Tennis balls
It is the policy of the club to provide tennis balls for use at club sessions. Balls are available for sale to members for their own use, currently at the extremely favourable price of £5.00 per can of Dunlop Fort, All Court ball, and can be obtained from Bob Wilson.
Tennis Footwear
Good quality tennis shoes are required for use on our new surface courts. Please ensure that you have suitable footwear before entering any of the courts.
League Match Fees
Match fees, charged at £2.50 per head for each of the 4 players, are designed to cover the cost of 2 cans of balls. These fees should be paid to the team captain on the day of the match and passed on to Bob Wilson as soon as possible.
The Men's Club session takes place as follows:
Monday evenings 6.30pm to 9.00pm except when two home summer league matches are being played.
Floodlights
The new floodlights are normally operated by use of tokens which can be purchased from Bob Wilson at a cost of £3 each. Each token lights a block of two courts for half an hour. On Thursday's Club Evening no charge will be made after 6.30pm.
Club Sessions
We have Club Sessions throughout the year when, providing weather conditions are reasonable there would usually be some members present. There is usually a committee member or long established member who will organise a four or a two so if you’re a new member all you have to do is turn up.
The Adult Club Sessions take place as follows:

Please note that there are several Monday evenings between the end of April and the middle of July when all four courts are needed for league matches

The younger juniors can attend for play when the coach is not present but there will need to be a parent or other adult in attendance. The club has a welfare policy which includes child protection, in line with LTA requirements. The Welfare Officer is Marion Erison
British Tennis Membership
Most of our members have already signed up as British Tennis Members. If you have not already done so, please do so without delay! Lite membership is free. The easiest way to join is online via the LTA. Our Wimbledon ticket allocation is partly based on how many members have joined.
Refreshments
Tea and coffee making facilities will be provided free to adult members. These items are kept in the fridge and the cupboard above.
Committee
Here
is a list of Committee members, which you may find useful. The Committee members
assist the Club, on a purely voluntary basis, often spending a great deal of
their own time for the benefit of all club members. Please give them your
support wherever possible.
